LATE SHIFT represents Switzerland in the competition for an Oscar®!

The Swiss Federal Office of Culture will submit the feature film LATE SHIFT, produced by Zodiac Pictures and written and directed by Petra Volpe, to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Hollywood in the category “Best International Feature Film.” In December 2025, it will be announced whether the film, starring Leonie Benesch in the leading role, will be included in the shortlist of films eligible for an Oscar® nomination.

 

LATE SHIFT is also shortlisted for "Best European Feature Film 2026" by the European Film Academy.
